Hello Hello!

Today I have a quick post showing you some swatches of Orly Cabana Boy with Essie's Matte About You

Orly Cabana Boy is a beautiful bright pink with a purple shimmer. The application was fine. It took 2 coats but the formula was a little on the thin side so even though the drying time seemed fast it was not fully dried and I ended up smudging my nails. I loved how opaque it looked and wanted to see if the shimmer traslated so I added the layer of matte topcoat. Im not sure If I love it yet.

Sixty Four

Good Morning! I hope you all had a good weekend. I know I have!

I got some colors in the mail that I ordered from ebay. Most were bright or neon pinks. I must have secretly wanted that color in my collection!  

The odd one out was China Glaze's Lasso My Heart.

Lasso My Heart is a gorgeous purple with gold shimmer. Its seriously stunning. I did not think it was anything special when I bought it online.

I LOVE this color. I seriously can't get enough of it. How pretty is it! The application was anything but flawed. It was perfect, one to two coats completly opaque and did not need a topcoat. The only reason I used one is because of the nail art. The china glaze brush is easy to use and Im finding that china glazes are awesome values.

I added some lines of L.A. Colors Art Deco in white.

Good afternoon to night! Happy rush hour :)

How are you all? I hope you didnt eat too much turkey yesterday and were able to digest it all! Hope your family dinners were as excellent as mine!

Today Im going to show you some swatches of one of my now favorite nail polishes!

Drumroll please:

Fashion Addict by Color Club!

Its a beautiful pale purple holo that is just subtle and awesome. I bought this at harmons full price for $3.50. Its so worth it. Its very opaque and only needs two coats. I did use a topcoat but you dont have too. The color isnt as holographic as my nail prisms but its still pretty cool.

Im starting to really like color club varnishes. The price point is great and the colors are awesome. Im hoping to get Revvolution during the holidays! (its a killer charcoal holo) The other color club I have is Sex Symbol a silver glitter. (havent worn it yet!)

My once white desk looks like it got into a battle with my nail collection and lost.

Sixty Two- HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you all spend it with your loved ones and have an excellent time! OR just enjoy your holiday!

In honor of this day I decided to wear a true autumn orange. 

Its called Calligraphic Calico by Finger Paints

Something about this color screams THANKSGIVING to me. Its a pretty orange with a yellow or gold undertone. I love shimmers and this took only 1-2 coats to get it opaque. The brush is longer than Im used too but I dont mind it. I only have a few fingerpaint polishes and Im starting to really like them. 

What do you think of this shade? Would you wear it?

Good Morning. Im so excited for thanksgiving, how do you all celebrate it with your family?

Today I have some more swatches from the ulta 5 for $5 deal. 

This one is called Star Party. I don't know its a misprint because wouldn't Star of the Party make more sense? Hmm. I dont buy nail polish for their nails so that doesnt really matter after all.

Star Party is a gorgeous Red with Pink Shimmer.

Ok I am definitely biased because my favorite polishes are red and pink shimmers!

This was a two coater. The first coat it looked a little dull so the second one really finished it off!On the nail the shimmer is hidden. In the sun it really sings but in the shade you can only see a hint of the pink. 

Im sorry my swatches are messy I was tired when I applied this. I enjoy ulta polishes and this is no excpetion. The quality is great, the brush is easy to use and the price is perfection!

Good Morning chicas!

Today I have a layered manicure. I used Essie's Jackie Oh My for the base and Nicole by opi Honeydew you love me? for the top. 

 

I had some serious application issues with Jackie so I needed to top it off with something else. I used three coats of Jackie and it still came off streaky and uneven. It is however more opaque then I would have thought. I love the nicole by opi heart glitter but most of the time you dont actually get a heart. I had to swim around for them! Its still a bresh of fresh air when I put them on.

I liked this manicure but if it wasnt for the hearts I probably wouldnt have.

Fifty Nine!

Good Morning. Its a start of a new week, but luckily this one has a national holiday in it!

Are you guys excited for Thanksgiving? I am!

Today I have swatches for an Ulta Brand polish called Debutante

Its a pretty purple creme with an awesome application. Its a tad darker in real life. It took two coats to get the color and I finished it with a top coat. I am a huge fan of these ulta polishes that retail for $5 but they are always on sale for $2. The square cap can come off and become a round one if thats what you prefer. These colors are very pigmented and they last for me. I would definitely recommend this line to anyone with a close ulta, I have only had positive feedback to these polishes.

I love purples and I think the creme finish is a great way to showcase the color.
