Twenty!

Whoo 20 posts!

Today I dont have swatches for you. Instead Im showing you my very first frankens! I like all but one of them. I am in love with one of them!

For those who dont know what frankens are- they are when you use an old or spare nail polish bottle and fill them with combination of existing polishes. Now I need to find some spare polish bottles to make more!
So here in order of what I do like to what I dont:

1. This beautiful purple polish is an egglplant like shade with glitter and shimmer crazyness. Its in an old avon bottle that one held an ugly brown color they called "blushed rose"

2. A raspberry and silver shimmer polish

3. A red-coral-brown polish with gold shimmer. This bottle is very small so this is probably only good for 1-3 manicures. I like it though its a very intresting color that I dont have much of.

4.A lavender shade with pink sparkles. This one is my least favorite and I might just dump it and start all over.

I really enjoyed making these. I think its a great idea when happy with the color. You can really add to your collection and make sure that your colors are unique.

What would you name these polishes?
What would your name be for each one? I will post the winners blog in my next post!

  8. they look gorgeous, esp the purple one at the top and the pinky-coral shades! As for names I'd be there for years coming up with something original. Seeing how you've named your posts one, two etc why not just call the polishes "glittery purple" "baby pink" etc :)
