Today Im going to have a quick post, Im sorry! Im going to review Orly Lollipop. Orly Lollipop was on my wishlist since the first time I saw it swatched. It was gorgeous, I needed it. My favorite color is lavender and this is a pretty light purple creme. Well I finally bought it!
I couldnt wait to try it out. I removed my color and put it on.
I hate it.
Its not the color for me, I think it looks aweful on my skintone.
I have a warm yellow based skintone and I think this works best on a cool or pale skintone. It just doesnt work for me.
The formula was great, another stellar orly. Easy to apply I love the brush! Its such a shame I really love the color!
What can I say, beautiful color just not for me!
I really like Orly polishes. They are so opaque and easy to apply :)

ReplyDeleteDon't you hate that...the dreadful skin tone clash! I always get so disappointed when it happens. I agree with Rachel, though, it could be rockin' with a black stamp!
ReplyDeleteI had this on my wishlist too and when I got It i could not wait! I applied it and I had the same problem I didnt look right at all. I also have the same skin tone. It was really sad I then bought OPI Rumples Wiggins and it was a much better match. I suggest that polish if you like lavender colors.
